Electrical specifications NPX64

VSWR

Per the NPX64.pdf datasheet, VSWR stays ≤ 1.5 across the full 5.9–7.2 GHz operating band, with high port isolation (ISO / XDP 30 dB).

NPX64 gain

The NPX64 offers Low 34 / Mid 35 / High 36 dBi gain across 5.9–7.2 GHz with RF shielding for high-noise sites.

Mechanical benefits

Mechanics set a great antenna apart — designed to make tower work easier for installers.

  • Low weight
  • Corrosion resistance
  • High light and heat reflectivity
  • Hermetic sealing
  • Excellent port-to-port isolation
  • Reliable electrical conductivity
NetPoint feed horn / dipole

NetPoint feed horn

NetPoint feed horns / dipoles follow a strict process with 100% aluminum purity to channel radio power and keep frequency and VSWR stable.

NetPoint RF connector

NetPoint RF connector

A high-quality RF connector maximizes efficiency and helps keep VSWR stable. Feed horns use hermetic, weatherproof sealing.

Frequently asked questions

What frequency range do NPX64 antennas cover?

NPX64 antennas operate in the extended 5.9–7.2 GHz range, improving spectrum use in highly congested areas.

What gain do NPX64 antennas offer?

The NPX64 offers Low 34 / Mid 35 / High 36 dBi gain per datasheet.

What connector do NPX64 antennas use?

They use low-loss N-female connectors and ship with N–SMA jumpers compatible with Mimosa, Cambium, and Ubiquiti radios.

Are they suitable for long-distance links?

Yes. The datasheet rates PtP links up to 80 km with line of sight, especially with high-sensitivity radios.

What is the typical VSWR?

Per datasheet, VSWR stays ≤ 1.5 across the full 5.9–7.2 GHz band.

What polarization do they support?

NPX64 antennas use Dual Slant 45°–90° polarization, ideal for MIMO 2×2 efficiency in backhaul.

What materials are used? Are they weatherproof?

Yes. They use treated aluminum with anti-corrosion coating and a fiberglass radome resistant to UV and rain.

Can they be used with 6 GHz Wi‑Fi 6E or licensed LTE radios?

Yes. They work with radios in the upper 6 GHz band, including Wi‑Fi 6E backhaul, LTE-LAA, and custom solutions.

What is the recommended minimum link distance?

They can work on short hops, but a minimum of about 3 km is recommended to avoid overpower and protect the Fresnel zone.

Is a special tower or mast required?

Mount NPX64 antennas on 2-inch steel masts or towers at least 6 m high, with precise aiming and firm anchoring.

What accessories can I use?

You can add NetPoint RF shields, wind-load radomes where needed, and the SANP stabilizer arm for more professional installs.
