NetPoint warranty policy

NetPoint products are warranted against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. This page summarizes the published NetPoint policy for coverage, RMA, and limitations.

Coverage

NetPoint’s sole responsibility under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective product, at NetPoint’s discretion.

  • Covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
  • Does not cover costs associated with removing and/or reinstalling the product for repair.
  • Does not cover parts that are readily replaced in normal use; ask your distributor or seller for support to avoid unnecessary shipping costs.

Term

A period of 2 years from the equipment sale date based on the shipping date, and/or an operating report within a maximum of 6 months from purchase to your distributor.

How to claim warranty (RMA)

  1. 1Report the failure to your authorized NetPoint distributor (primary claims channel).
  2. 2Keep the invoice, serial number, and preferably the equipment registration.
  3. 3Document the issue with photos, evidence, and link data to speed evaluation.
  4. 4The end user is responsible for shipping the defective product according to the procedure indicated by the distributor or the brand, with evidence of the RMA report.
  5. 5The replaced component must be sent to NetPoint for testing and future issue prevention.

Limitations and exclusions

The warranty is void if the RMA product has been altered or manipulated in a way that changes its original shipping configuration or form, unless authorized in writing by a NetPoint representative. This includes, among others:

  • External surfaces painted, marked, or otherwise modified from the original shipping condition.
  • Unauthorized modifications to reflectors, dipoles, or equivalent elements.
  • Abnormal physical or electrical stress: lightning, electrical discharge, voltage induction, negligence, accident, or misuse.
  • Damage from incorrect installation (improper mounting, incorrect wiring or power connections, pigtail damage, and poor practices). The product must be installed by a certified professional.
  • Damage induced by third-party products not part of the original equipment.
  • Second-hand equipment, or a previously submitted RMA without an operating report within 1 month, which will be considered resolved.
  • Out-of-warranty products sent to NetPoint without database registration will not receive effective delivery.

Spare parts

Replacement parts are warranted against defects in materials or workmanship for thirty (30) days or for the remainder of the warranty period of the NetPoint product they replace, whichever is longer.
