ADN System, an ISP in Villavicencio,Colombia experienced a high demand for internet services as a result of population growth and home-based work setup due to the pandemic. Their current internet services were compromised due to poor quality telecom devices and mountain ranges surrounding the area. ADN consulted Syscom Colombia for a robust backhaul solution and have recommended the combination of Netpoint antennas and Cambium Networks. As explained by Engineer Ian Pineda mention, it was not the best since the city has developed and a lot of demand has been generated. There is a high interference in the areas as shown in the previous study:
We recommended a combination of 30 dBi NetPoint NP1 antennas and Cambium PTP 550. This combination is ideal for operating as a backbone within the network.
Easy installation especially that NP1 antennas are lightweight.
NP1 antennas in all bands are very stable and obtain very good alignment values.
Excellent modulation of 750 mbps which utilized the PTP550c Cambium channels with zero loss.
