Instalaciones de antenas NetPoint en USA

Jelly digital relies on NetPoint as its main antenna for long distance backhaul

Jelly Digital, given the urban growth in Chulavista and surrounding areas, decided to implement NPX2 antennas at a distance of 31 miles to feed the networks of end customers in various areas of San Diego. The backhaul design combined fiber optic networks with wireless networks that provided great stability using Mimosa B5C radios, reaching a bandwidth of 700 Mbps.

The most challenging part in this installation was to take advantage of the shielding protection of the radome that NPX antennas incorporated, thus obtaining a better gain against the noise of an area with high traffic caused by the wireless networks in San Diego. This provided greater confidence in the brand by spearheading installations where high stability is needed to keep the customers happy. Today, we can say that Jelly Digital has become our first integrator and active partner in the United States, providing high-quality services on the West Coast.

"With the surprising result and the versatility of NetPoint, we will continue betting on this combination."
- Norman Jester

Confirming that the best combination for wireless networks is NetPoint and Mimosa, Jelly Digital also provides internet to Baja, California, Mexico through its fiber crossing the border between San Diego and Tijuana through its affiliate partner Mexico Internet Exchange. Mexico Internet Exchange owns and operates 27 towers and owns a fiber plant in Baja California as far south as Ensenada.
